Who I Am
I’m Eddie Rod — raised in Alabama, spent years in Michigan, and have driven, flown, or wandered through most of the United States along the way. These days I’m based in Austin, Texas, but I travel for projects whenever the work calls for it.
Photography found me somewhere on the road. I started carrying a camera because I kept seeing things I didn’t want to forget — murals, skies, strangers, quiet moments that felt like they mattered. Writing followed naturally. Most days I still jot down a few lines about whatever happened, wherever I ended up.
What Eddietorials Is
Eddietorials is a running archive of that life — photos, short videos, and the occasional opinion piece. Nothing is staged. Everything here is something I actually saw, walked through, or thought about.
Every photo and video on the site is available for download. Free members get three media-friendly downloads a day. Paying members get the full-resolution originals with usage rights. If you need a license for commercial work, reach out directly.
Why It Matters to Me
Everything sold here goes toward my parents’ retirement. That’s not a marketing line — it’s the actual reason this site exists. My parents worked hard their whole lives and deserve to enjoy what comes next. If a photo I took ends up on a wall, a website, or a project somewhere, and that helps them rest easier, then the whole thing is worth it.
